Too Darn Cute – Gotta Post

PBS – Love Hate relationship

I love me some PBS…I like all the programming – its great for the kids, also the adults…Frontline is an awesome program…

But for some reason…we have seen some commercials!  AGH!  Not just any commercial…but the “KIDDIELAND” commercial…all this week…”mom can we go to kiddieland?”  “Mom” with tears in his eyes “I really want to go to kiddieland”  my response “honey its too far”  “But mom, we can get in the car and drive”…why oh why PBS~  This has been happening all week long.  It breaks my heart, I may break down and take this boy to kiddieland….

Bursted my bubble….

I’ve been doing tutus and hair bows – well I just finished this really cute hair bow thats a witch for halloween…very cute.  I show a certain person, – and I get – oh, it doesn’t look like a witch. 

Why do I bother?

Thank goodness I’m bad at math!

I thought I only ran 1.5 miles yesterday, turns out it was 2.5 (3. total with walking) the lap I was doing, I thought was only .25, turns out it was .4 – how cool is that!

way to go me!

hehehe…hey, somebodys got to pat me on the back!  I’ve been kinda down on myself because I haven’t had a chance to run…I’ve been walking daily with little miss for about 20-30 min…but its hard to run with a stroller – I have the limo of strollers too.  But today my sitter came through and I was able to go…I ran for about 11 min then walked 6 min thinking I was going to be able to go again, and I went again for another 13.  it felt good – I’m tired, but feeling good.  My dog Echo is my running companion – he’s so funny, because for me its running, for him its his normal walk.  He’s so darn cute, hes becoming very good on the leash.

Not much else, I got some tutus made for my craft fair – bumble bee, lady bug and black cat…now I just need to take pics of them.

Mr. Mischief will be in the 5′11″ range – which is nice, since me and hubby are on the shorter side, Mr. Mischief gets basically all his genes from my dad who was slightly over 6 foot. 

Little Miss…we do have some short genes on both sides of the family, but really 4′11″ is her predicted height – oh, my sweet little peanut.  She was weighed the other day at the dr (we went for her heart, she’s good, she has a slight heart murmur they check out once a year)  23lbs…I’m back to being concerned – mainly because she refused to eat today.  I try so hard for it not to be a struggle.  But when she thumbs her nose up at everything on her plate …it bothers me.  I want to scream “JUST EAT”  I don’t want to give her junk food, but the girl has got to put on some weight.  THis has got to be some mutant gene, because mama has no problems putting on the weight…daddy, well, she must get it from him.

UGH!  I know its just a game, and I know my peanut probably won’t even reach 4′11″, I just want her to be healthy, and I’m starting to feel that she’s not.  If she doesn’t eat this weekend, I think I’ll be making another drs visit.

10 minutes!

I started with 7 minutes, walked 2 minutes ran another 8 minutes, walked 2 minutes and then ran 10 MINUTES!  I’m so happy!  Ya Me!  My puppy dog did an excellent job too

I think my fear of embaressment keeps me going – the idea of doing this 8 k and not finishing it after I told everyone I was doing it – well, its keeping me on my toes!

Hanging up my Crocs

yes, I am a fashion victim to comfort – I love my crocs – but the season is changing, and now that I’m starting to run – they are not as comfortable as they used to be…summer is fading away!

WOW – I really like Michelle Obama

I wasn’t going to watch the convention…but I really got into it.  They are such a personable family.  I love that they weren’t born into money, that they truly had to work to be were they are at.  She is a great speaker, and such a leader.  What a great first lady she will make.  I wonder if McCains wife is speaking – I’d like to hear her too.
